Superbly located on the Mediterranean coast of France, the village of Vendres, near Beziers is surrounded by vineyards and lakes. The campsite has a superb aquatic complex with pool and waterslides. With access to the beach via the dunes Les Sablines is an excellent choice for a family holiday from April to September.

The historic cities of Beziers (10 minutes) and Narbonne (25 minutes) are well worth a visit . The modern resort of Cap D’Agde with its marina surrounded by bars and restaurants is just 30 mins drive.

The medieval village of St-Guilhem-le-Desert, where time seems to have stood still over the centuries and is often featured in period films - is one
hour away.

See the spectacular Roman aqueduct at Nimes (90 minutes) and take a
walk across the famous Pont de Gard – be sure to take your camera.

Don’t forget to visit the local vineyards and sample the local wines.

There are many activities available in the local area including sailing, diving, fishing, or you can just enjoy the Mediterranean sun and sea !
